I’m Brighton! You can call me B or Brighton—whatever really! I’m a destination wedding photographer with a deeply rooted love for traveling and capturing the world through my eyes. That’s one of the things I love most about photography—I can show the world the way I see things. It’s almost like an invitation to hop inside my mind and take a peek through my lens! There’s a certain uniqueness in one’s own perspective and I love to showcase that.

I'm a big fan of AUTHENTICITY.
The raw, messy, and sweet moments between two people are what make up the authenticity that I LOVE to capture. That’s REAL to me. I could pose you all day long, but those photos are not going to be the LIFE-GIVING photos that stir up the very feelings you had in the moment they were taken. THAT’S what I aim for! I want to serve you as best I can by documenting the feeling you felt in a way that translates through the looks you exchange, the touch of your hands, or the laugh lines on your face. I feel so incredibly blessed every day to get to witness so many beautiful, authentic moments in this job. I thank God daily that this is where His plan has led me.
A few things to describe me these days: my Kindle, an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and a dash of cinnamon, pickleball with my husband, my home decor Pinterest board, and THAI FOOD. When I was in college, I became a regular at a Thai place in town. Like, so regular that they knew my name, my order, and recognized MY VOICE when I called in. It's truly my favorite thing!! I like to joke with my husband that if I'm ever grumpy, all he has to do is get some Thai in my system and I should snap out of it in no time. Next time you go, order the spicy basil fried rice and thank me later, friend. Something else about me is I have absolutely no problem watching the same movies and TV shows over and over. Chris (my husband) thinks I'm crazy for this! If I love watching it, I could for my whole life and be satisfied! My regular rotation includes Mamma Mia!, New Girl, Bridgerton, Harry Potter, Emily In Paris, Friends, and Under the Tuscan Sun. I HIGHLY recommend any of them!

And this is my little family...
Chris is my biggest encourager, my truest friend, and my most favorite human on earth! He is caring, goofy, and makes me a better me with every passing day. Life with him is the most fun. I just love being married to him! He asked me to be his wife in October of 2020 and we got married in October of 2021! In December of 2021, we added our cutie boy, Obi, to the fam. Yep, Chris is a Star Wars nerd. He's an Aussiedoodle and I'm so obsessed with him! He's crazy by day, snuggly by night and I just LOOOVEEE him!
